LAWCHA member Nathan Jun is interested in acquiring a new marker for the grave of our departed comrade Harry Kelly (1871-1953) at Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Park, IL. Harry was an important member of the early 20th century American anarchist movement, a union militant, and a co-founder of the Modern School. The original marker from his grave (#31, Sector G, near the Haymarket Martyrs’ Monument) has been missing for several years.
The caretakers of Forest Home have offered to replace the stone and add a new marker modeled on the old marker. The cost is $850.00. Please help Nathan raise the required funds to purchase a new gravestone at http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/a-new-gravestone-for-harry-kelly/.
