Biannual Conference

LAWCHA holds its own conference in odd years, usually in May or June. Hundreds of scholars, activists, archivists, students, and others come together for two and a half days of panels, roundtables, plenaries, films, walking tours, meetings, organizing trainings, and other events. It’s a friendly conference at which you’ll get to meet some of your favorite historians, learn about labor movements past and present, and about working people of all sorts from enslaved farmworkers to unpaid moms.
